Snowfall: 20 vehicles trapped on Bandipora-Gurez Road, Rescued

Bandipora, Nov 12: Authorities in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district rescued 20 vehicles that got stuck in snowfall on Bandipora-Gurez Road, officials said here on Tuesday.

An official told KNO that the administration responded as soon as they received information about 20 vehicles stuck on the Razdan Pass and other areas.

Teams from the Administration, J&K Police, and Beacon were sent to the area, who rescued the vehicles along with the drivers, and passengers in snow near Zadkhus Nallah and Razdan Top during the night, the official said.

The Bandipora-Gurez road was closed for traffic yesterday evening due to snowfall along Razdan Top and other hilly areas in the region.
