DSEK proposes change in school timing from Nov

Srinagar, Oct 28: Directorate Of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has sought change in school timings in the Valley from next month.

In a letter to Principal Secretary to Government, School Education Department, the DSEK has proposed change in the timing in tune with the past practice and considering the decline in temperature.

As per the communication, a copy of which lies with GNS, the DSEK has proposed to adjust school timings within Srinagar Municipal Limits from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm beginning November 1.

For schools outside Municipal Limits of Srinagar District and other areas of Kashmir Province, the DSEK has proposed timing from 10:30 am to 03:30 pm.
