2 PDD daily wagers injured while repairing 11Kv line in Poonch

Jammu, Oct 18: Two daily wagers of Power Development Department were injured after they got in contact of live wire in Sanai area of Surankote in Poonch district on Friday.

Officials told GNS that two daily wagers during repairing of 11 KV line recieved electric shock due to which they sustained injuries.

Both the person were immediately shifted to Sub-district hospital Surankote for treatment, where tom they were shifted to GMC Rajouri for advanced treatment.

Both the injured have been identified as Mohd Farooq (48) son of Faqir Mohd resident of Potha and Mohd Khaliq(45) son of Mohd Rashid resident of Sanai.

Meanwhile, families of the injured blocked the Poonch- Jammu Highway at Sanai and were protesting against the negligence on the part of PDD officials.
