Srinagar, Sep 10: Special NIA court on Tuesday granted interim bail to Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid in a case linked to terror finding.

Chief spokesperson Awami Itehaad Party, Inam-Un-Nabi told KNO that the court granted bail to Er Rashid till October 2, 2024.

He said that the court granted bail to Er Rashid to allow him to campaign for the upcoming assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir.

He further said that hearing for regular bail in the terror funding case has been scheduled for tomorrow by Delhi’s special NIA court.

Election is scheduled to be held in J&K in three phases on September 18, 25, and October 1. The counting of votes will be held on October 8.
