Srinagar, Sep 09: A grand felicitation ceremony was held at A.G’s Public School, Shaloora, Kralpora, Kupwara, to honor the academic excellence of its students, including seven NEET qualifiers and three JKBOSE 10th class toppers from the 2024 batch.

The event, organized at the school premises, celebrated both boys and girls who have excelled in their academic pursuits.

The ceremony was graced by prominent personalities, including G. N. Var, President of the Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK), and Chairman Abdul Gani Dar. Other distinguished guests included Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Lone (Retired Principal, Degree College Kupwara), Ashiq Hussain Paul (Principal, Government Higher Secondary Kralpora), Alamdin (Retired Principal), Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Poshpori, Mohammad Yousuf Mashoor (Poet and Writer), Mufti Ijaz Ahmad Peer, Irshad Ahmad Mir (Parents’ Association), Mohammad Ayoub Dilbar, Shabir Ahmad Qureshi, and Dr. Bilal Ahmad.

The event also saw active participation from parents, teachers, and students.

In recognition of their outstanding achievements, the school presented Certificates of Appreciation and Mementos to the NEET qualifiers and JKBOSE toppers, encouraging them to continue their pursuit of excellence.

Addressing the gathering, PSAJK President G.N. Var congratulated the students and acknowledged the role of A.G’s Public School in producing successful NEET qualifiers and 10th class toppers from the 2024 batch.

He remarked, “The success of these students is a testament to the dedicated efforts of the school management and teachers. Their commitment to nurturing young minds is evident in the outstanding results achieved.”

Var further emphasized the importance of preparing for future challenges, stating, “As we enter an era dominated by Artificial Intelligence and technological advancements, our students must not only excel in traditional academics but also equip themselves for the upcoming challenges. They must think beyond local boundaries and aim for a global level of excellence.”

He also highlighted the significant history of achievements of private schools, adding, “Our schools have a remarkable legacy, having produced numerous doctors, teachers, intellectuals, engineers, and professionals across various fields. This is a legacy we must continue to build upon, ensuring the next generation is prepared for the demands of an ever-evolving world.”

In his remarks, Var also called for greater recognition of private schools’ contributions to society. “Private schools have been at the forefront of educational excellence, providing quality education and shaping the careers of countless professionals. It is high time both society and the government acknowledge and support the immense contribution made by private institutions.” He urged the government to provide more recognition and resources to private schools to ensure they continue to thrive and produce capable citizens contributing to the nation’s progress.

Chairman of A.G’s Public School, Abdul Gani Dar, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the students, stating, “The hard work and dedication of the NEET qualifiers and 10th class toppers are truly commendable. Their success reflects the supportive environment of the school and the guidance of the teachers.”

During the ceremony, the NEET qualifiers and toppers also took the stage to share their journeys. One of the NEET qualifiers remarked, “This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the constant support of our teachers and parents. A.G’s Public School has provided us with the right platform to chase our dreams.”

The guests applauded the achievements of the students and stressed the importance of a strong educational foundation. Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Lone commented, “These students are setting an example for their peers. The commitment of A.G’s Public School to academic excellence is truly inspiring.”

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from the Principal of A.G’s Public School, who expressed gratitude to the distinguished guests, students, and parents for their support.

“We are proud of our students, and this ceremony reflects our commitment to their future success,” the Principal said.
