Srinagar, Sep 04: Candidates of National Conference, Apni Party and Peoples Democratic Party for Chanapora and Habba Kadal assembly segments Wednesday filed nomination papers for the upcoming assembly election in Jammu and Kashmir.

According KNO, NC candidates for Habba Kadal seat, Shameema Firdous and Chanapora constituency Mushtaq Guroo arrived at Srinagar Municipal Corporation to file nomination papers.

Meanwhile, Apni Party president Syed Altaf Bukhari also arrived at SMC to file his nomination papers for Chanapora seat.

As soon as Bukhari reached SMC, the workers of both the parties enter into a brawl, but the situation was brought under control by the security forces present inside the premises.

PDP candidate for Chanapora constituency, Muhammad Iqbal Trumboo also reached SMC to file nomination papers.
