Srinagar, Aug 28: A man from Budgam died due to electrocution while working on a smart city project in Maharaj Gunj area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Monday, officials said.

An official told KNO that the man was working on the smart city project when he received electric current.

He said that he was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to injuries,.

The man has been identified as Danish Ahmed Dar (26) son of Maqbool Ah Dar of Chadoora, Budgam.

Police have cognisance of the matter.
