Srinagar, Jul 30: At least four shops and a granary mill was damaged in a fire incident at Gulzar Pora area of Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

An official told Kashmir Scroll that in the early morning, fire broke out in Granary mill of Bashir Ahmad Wani, son of Gh mohd Wani of Gulzarpora near Higher secondary school Gulzarpora Awantipora.

He said that fire has been brought under control while the cause of fire is believed to be electrical short circuit.

He said that in the incident four shops and a granary mill got partially damaged, however, no loss of life or injury was reported during the incident, adding that further investigation in this regard has been taken up.
