Malhotra has expressed gratitude and thanks to AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey, who has been instrumental in selecting the Srinagar, J&K to host maiden National camp for SAFF U-16 last year.

It was for the first time that Jammu and Kashmir was hosting National Camp for 16 Championship with the support of JKSSC. This has added new chapter in the history of JK Football.

Now again, President AIFF was generous enough to offer another opportunity to JK in giving under-17 football camp to Srinagar.

Making JK a part of vision and road map of AIFF for development of football will definitely boost the players and game and woo aspiring footballers to create a niche at higher level.

Malhotra also thanked president AIFF for appointing Ishfaq Ahmad, former international footballer and head coach of U 16 and U17, which won SAFF under-16 championship.

Such a huge development is because joint of tireless efforts of JKSSC and AIFF and all those who are working for development of football in JK.

He said that together with the local stakeholders and J&K Sports Council, we will be able to develop tailormade plans and projects for the development of the game in the UT.

Arun has further added that it would not have possible without help from JK administration, I am thankful to Hon’ble LG, Chief Secretary JK, commissioner secretary, youth service and sports and also Ms. Nuzhat Gul, secretary sports council for extending all facilities in kick starting the football activities and implementing many positive initiatives.

He also added that in coming times many more initiatives are in pipeline and I believe that together we bring change and see in near future that our players and coaches make name and fame at national and international arena.
