Jammu, Jun 26: Three unidentified militants have been killed in a gunfight in Sinoo area of Gandoha in Doda district on Wednesday.

A senior police officer told GNS that three militants have been killed so far while as search operation is still underway in the area. The identity of the militants will be only ascertained once the operation concludes.

Also from their possession Arms and Ammunition including US made M4 rifle has been also recovered.

Earlier a jointteam of Police and security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Sinoo area on a very specific input.

As the joint team approached towards the suspected area, the hiding militants fired upon the joint party, leading to an encounter.
