In a first, PepsiCo launches sports drink `Gatorade’ in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 29: In a first of its kind, the sports drink has been launched for the sports enthusiastic in Srinagar at the cost of Rs 20.

The sports drink Gatorade has been launched today at Nun Kun, Boulevard here. Three flavours have been introduced in a first instance.

According to INS, the drink was launched by Sami Bhat (Vice President J&K Jai Beverages) and Gulam Hasan Sales head valley & all sales team.

Several top cricketers including Abid Nabi, Omar Alam, Samiullah and others were present on the occasion.

Pertinently, Gatorade is an American brand of sports-themed beverage and food products, built around its signature line of sports drinks. The drink is currently manufactured by PepsiCo and is distributed in over 80 countries.
