According to the INS, the suspension order reads that the disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against 15 employees including ten Linemen, meter readers and technicians.

The KPDCL said that the disciplinary proceedings under rule-33 of the J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956 are contemplated against them, adding that all the suspended officers shall remain attached with the concerned Executive Engineers till further orders.

This is the second such order issued within five days as earlier the government suspended twelve of Power Development Department employees and initiated disciplinary proceedings against them.
