Ramban, Mar 4: Four persons were killed and three others sustained injuries after a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off a road in Ramban district on Monday morning.

Reports said that a sumo vehicle on way from Maligam to Ukhrall skidded off the road near Maligam due to slippery conditions, resulting in on spot death of four persons and injuries to three others.

A rescue operation was instantly launched by police with the help of locals, during which the bodies were recovered and the injured persons evacuated to PHC Ukhral for immediate treatment.

The deceased have been identified as Abdul Wahid Bali, Anaytullah, Mohammad Ayoub Bali, and driver Sajjad Ahmad—all residents of Pogal.

Confirming the incident, a police official told GNS that a case has been registered in this regard for further investigations.
