Gulmarg among other places receive fresh snowfall

Srinagar, Feb 18: Gulmarg, a famous ski-resort in Kashmir and other parts have received fresh snowfall on Sunday, bringing the mercury down at most places while the rains here have lashed plains as well.

Pertinently, the J&K parts as per the weather forecast is going to experience a three-day wet spell while some parts are expected to receive heavy snowfall during the period till February 20th.

Reports reaching INS said that several areas including Gilmarg, Machil, Tangdhar and others have received fresh snowfall since this morning.

The fresh snowfall has however, led to the closure of roads at multiple places including Tangdhar, Keran, and Machil roads closed as precautionary measures.
