SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir visits Sonamarg, assesses road condition

Srinagar, Feb 03: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic Rural Kashmir, Ravindra Pal Singh Saturday visited Sonamarg area to assess the prevailing road conditions along Zojila axis of SSG road.

The officer during the visit held a briefing session with SHO Sonamarg, and with Traffic personnel deployed at TCP Sonamarg.

The officer also took stock of basic facilities available to deployed men, besides took stock of their welfare. The officer during his visit hold similar briefing session with newly deployed traffic personnel at Gagangeer and reminded them regarding directives of prevailing traffic advisory related to movement of vehicular traffic amid adverse climactic conditions and frosty roads.

The SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir directed the traffic officials at Sonamarg and Gagangeer that they will not any kind of vehicular movement in contradiction to laid down advisory towards Zojila.

Ravinder Pal Singh also attended a traffic awareness program which was organized by Traffic Rural Kashmir at Kangan under National Road Safety Month being observed from 15th of January to 14th of February, 2024 in which at least 80 drivers and other associated transporters took part.
