Chairman LAHDC Kargil, other delegations call on LG

Jammu, Jan 29: Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, Chairman Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Kargil called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan on Monday.

A delegation of residents of Katra led by Baldev Raj Sharma, former Legislator and President Holy Town Katra Stakeholders Development Forum apprised the Lt Governor of various development issues of Katra including Heritage status to the Holy town, strengthening rail and ropeway connectivity, refinement of Parikarma routes, development of main market, modernization of Sewerage system and establishment of Spiritual Theme Park.

Later, Sanjay Kulshrestha, Chairman & Managing Director, Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) also called on the Lt Governor.

Meanwhile, Devji Patel, Member of Parliament from Jalore-Sirohi, Rajasthan called on Lieutenant Governor.
