Train catches fire at Qazigund, all passengers Slsafe

Srinagar, Jan 25: A train running between Budgam to Banihal caught fire in its engine, prompting the authorities to launch an immediate rescue operation.

Officials in the knowhow of things told GNS that the railway bearing number 09760 was abruptly halted after smoke was spotted billowing out of the engine.

“The railway authorities swung into action and resorted to fire safety measures and brought the flames under control averting injury to all the on board passengers and also any damage to the train”, the official said.
