Night temp improves, Sgr shivers at minus 2.4°C

Srinagar, Jan 17: As a result of feeble Western Disturbance, the night temperature has improved at multiple places across Kashmir on Wednesday.

According to INS, the Independent Weather Forecaster, Faizan Keng said that Srinagar, the summer capital of J&K has recorded a low of minus 2.4°C.

Kupwara in north Kashmir was coldest at minus 4.3°C while Qazigund recorded a low of minus 3.6°C.

Pahalgam has recorded a minimum temperature of minus 3.9°C while Gulmarg a famous ski-resort has recorded a low of minus 3.2°C.

Pertinetly, Keng has predicted a light snowfall at higher reaches, saying that a weak western disturbance is affecting J&K at present.
