Fog continues to envelop Kashmir, MeT predicts 2-day wet spell on Jan 3

Srinagar, Dec 27: The weatherman on Wednesday predicted two-day light wet spell on January 3 while the dense fog continued to blanket Kashmir amidst the chilly weather conditions.

As per details available with the INS, Director Meteorological Centre, Srinagar, Mukhtar Ahmad said that the dense fog as being witnessed in the past couple of days will continue to envelop the centra Kashmir areas and plains of Baramulla, Ganderbal and other parts till December 31st.

He further added the light wet spell is expected in between January 03-04.

Moreover, the sub-zero temperature have been recorded again in Kashmir with Srinagar recording a low of minus 2.6°C.

Pahalgam was the coldest place in Kashmir at minus 4.6°C.

Gulmarg recorded a low of minus 2.8°C while in Kupwara the mercury settled at minus 4.2°C.
