Sgr records coldest night of season at -2.0°C

Srinagar, Dec 06: The night temperature continued to settle below freezing point across Kashmir while Srinagar recorded the coldest night of season at -2.0°C.

According to INS, the minimum temperature plummeted at multiple places recording coldest night of season. The areas include Pahalgam, Kupwara, Shopian, Qazigund and others.

In Qazigund, the mercury settled at -2.0°C. Gulmarg also recorded the coldest night of season at -2.2°C.

Pahalgam in Southern district recorded a low of -5.1°C while Kupwara in north Kashmir recorded a minimum temperature of -2.7°C.

Pertinently, the Meteorological department here has predicted dip in the mercury by 3-5°C.

The weatherman has also predicted dry and cloudy weather conditions till December 10.
