Night temp improves as Kashmir parts receive fresh snowfall, rains

Srinagar, Nov 30: With the improvement in the night temperature, the higher and middle reaches of Kashmir received fresh snowfall while the rains lashed plains on Thursday.

Reports reaching INS said that Sadhna Top, Chowkibal Tangdhar, and Keran received fresh snowfall today following which the road has been closed for the traffic movement.

Gulmarg, a famous ski-resort also experienced fresh snowfall today while plains including Srinagar received rainfall this morning.

Norably, Gulmarg has recorded a low of minus 1.0 degree Celsius while the minimum temperature at other stations settled above freezing point.

Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of 5.3 degree Celsius while Qazigund recorded 5.0 degree Celsius.
