Srinagar, Nov 25: Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday announced winter vacations for students upto class 8th from November 28.

The winter vacations as per the INS has been announced in a phased manner.

For Classes upto 8th standard, the vacations will be observed from November 28, 2023 to February 29, 2024 and subsequently for classes 8th to 12th standard the vacations will be observed from December 11, 2023 to February 29, 2024.

“The teaching staff shall report back to their respective schools on 21st February, 2024, so that they remain available for making arrangements regarding preparation of ensuing examinations,”
the order reads.
