Srinagar, Oct 29: Unknown gunmen suspected to be militants fired upon a cop near Eidgah area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Sunday.

A top police officer told GNS that militants fired upon on inspector, identified as Masood near Eighah. He was has been shifted to nearby hospital for treatment. His condition is said to be critical.

As per the sources he is posted in DPL.

Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
