Srinagar, Oct 26: Two terrorist have been killed as forces foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control in Machil Sector in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday, police said.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Kashmir Zone Police, said that based on a specific input, an encounter started in Machil Sector in which two terrorists were killed.

Police said that operation was still going on in the area.

“Based on a specific information provided by Kupwara Police, an #encounter has started in Machhal sector in which two #terrorists have been killed so far. Operation underway. Further details shall follow.”
