LG lays wreath, pays tribute to fallen policemen on Police Commemoration Day at Zewan

Srinagar, Oct 21: On the Police Commemoration day, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday morning laid a wreath and paid his glorious tributes to the fallen policemen at the Armed Police Complex, Zewan on the outskirts of Srinagar.

LG Sinha in his post on X said, “Laid a wreath and paid tributes to martyred policemen on Police Commemoration day at Armed Police Complex, Zewan, today.”

The nation will forever be indebted to the bravery, courage & supreme sacrifice of our police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty, he added.

It is pertinent to mention that the Police Commemoration Day is observed every year throughout the country on 2Ist October to remember the policemen who laid their lives on the line of duty.

The Police Commemoration Day was observed across the country and top brass political leaders and other dignitaries paid homage to the fallen policemen.
