Prez Murmu arrives in Sgr on 2-day J&K visit

Srinagar, Oct 11: Amid tight security arrangements, President of India, Droupadi Murmu arrived in Srinagar on a two-day visit on Wednesday.

President was received by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Srinagar International Airport.

Today, the President will preside over the 20th convocation of the University of Kashmir at Srinagar.

Later, she will interact with the members of local tribal groups and women Self Help Groups at Raj Bhavan, Srinagar.

The President will also attend a civic reception to be hosted in her honour at the Raj Bhavan today.

On October 12, 2023, the President will visit Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine where she will inaugurate a remodelled Parvati Bhavan and Sky Walk.
