Srinagar, Oct 5: An 18-year-old student who was shot and injured by unknown gunmen in Watrigam Wanihama area of Anantnag district on last evening succumbed to injuries at SKIMS here on Thursday.

A top police officer confirmed to GNS that the youth identified as Sahil Bashir son of Bashir Ahmad Dar resident of Watrigam Dialgam at Wanihama has succumbed to the wounds.

Dar with bullet injury in neck had been immediately shifted to nearby hospital where from he was shifted to SKIMS Soura here.
