Srinagar, Aug 24: After serving in Sports Authority Of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government Of India as Deputy Director, on deputation, Dr. Nadeem Dar is back at his parent department, University of Kashmir as Coordinator, Directorate of Physical Education and Sports.

Dr. Nadeem Dar will head KU’s Physical Education and Sports in Directorate of Physical Education and Sports.

People hailed as “remarkable” the decision taken by Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir Prof. Neelofar Khan and Registrar, University of Kashmir, Dr. Nisar Ahmad Mir is getting Dr. Nadeem Dar back. Pertinently the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports in University of Kashmir has been without a professional head from the particular field and makeshift arrangements were made from time to time. The Sports lovers from different corners appreciated the decision of the authorities of University of Kashmir and are hopeful of revival of the Sports activities at large scale at varsity. Meanwhile Dr. Surjit Singh also joined as Coordinator M.P.ed. programme in Directorate of Physical Education and Sports
