Elegant Strikers, Cemtac Stars Wins Matches In JKPL Season 2

Srinagar: In an exhilarating start to the second season of the Jammu and Kashmir Premier League (JKPL), Elegant stickers emerged victorious by defeating Team bird by 7 wickets.

Batting first, Dar enterprises scored big total of 191/5 in which Imran Haroon scored valuable 69 runs and Aqib scored quick fire 48 runs.The standout performance of the match came from Elegant Strikers was Akash Ayoub, who proved to be the be the game changer by scoring blistering knock of 66 from just 23 balls and Hurair scored valuable unbeaten 59 runs.
In a display of remarkable teamwork and determination, Elegant strikers chased down the target with 7 wickets to spare.Chief guest on the occasion was Dr Anshu Kataria Chairman Aryans Group of Colleges Rajpura , SP Hazratbal Mashkoor Ahmad Zargar , Chairman Cemtac Cements Riyaz Ahmad.

In another match Cemtac Stars won against Gani Shah Cricket Club by ten runs.

Captain of Cemtac stars Omar Alam won the toss and decided to bat first. In the allotted 20 overs Cemtac stars scored 159. In reply Gani Shah cricket club managed 149 runs losing 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. With it Cemtac Stars won the match by 10 runs and with it achieving their 1st win of the tournament. Manish Sherawat of Cemtac Stars was adjudged man of the match for getting 3 wickets.  Jatin received super sixes and impact player award hitting two big monster sixes.

Meanwhile, Director Cemtac congratulated the team for their 1st win and promised to give a platform to the young talent to display their skill. He said the team will be participating in the upcoming renowned tournaments.
