Bhat Lions Kupwara, Ali Jana Star CC emerge victorious in ongoing Jammu Kashmir Premier League (JKPL)

Srinagar: Bhat lions Kupwara and Ali Jana Star CC emerged victorious with latter defeating Royal Goodwill Cricket Club by 5 wickets and former Dadoo Rangers in the ongoing Jammu Kashmir Premier League (JKPL).

As per the official statement, Bhat Lion’s Rouf Mir was the standout performer, setting the pitch ablaze with an impressive knock of 25 runs off 10 balls with  the help of 2 sixes and 2 fours. He also picked 2 wickets with ball giving only 23runs in 4 overs. Rouf’s exceptional all round prowess captivated the audience and paved the way for his team’s win. His combination of power-hitting and finesse left spectators in awe.

On the bowling front, Ankit Singh showcased his mettle by taking three crucial wickets. His ability to break partnerships and provide crucial breakthroughs proved pivotal in restricting Royal Goodwill to 167/9 .

For Royal Goodwill CC Aquib Mir scored unbeaten 59 runs off 48 balls.

The Jammu Kashmir Premier League continues to bring thrilling cricket action to fans across the region. With each match, the league reaffirms its position as a premier cricketing event that celebrates talent, passion, and sportsmanship.

The second match was played between Ali Jana CC and Dadoo Rangers. After winning the toss Dadoo Rangers elected to bat first and with the help of Naveen Paul’s 33 runs, it scored 140/8 in allotted 20 overs. For Ali Jana Star Cricketer of Valley Parveez Rasool was pick of the bowlers bagging 2 wickets. Shiva Singh picked 2.

In reply the Ali Jana changed the target in 18.3 overs with the help of magnificent and brisk knock by Shiva Singh who scored fastest fifty of JKPL 2 in just 17 balls and scored 63 in 21 balls with the help of 6 sixes . For Dadoo rangers Naveed Paul  took 3 wickets.
