Poonch, April 9: Nineteen sheep were killed and 15 others injured when a leopard attacked them in Gultha area of Mendhar in Poonch district, officials said on Sunday.

They said that the leopard barged into a shed belonging to one Maneer Hussain Shah and attacked the livestock.

In the incident, they said, 19 sheep were killed on the spot and 15 others were left with injuries.

A police party rushed to the site to assess the situation, they added.
