Shopian: Joint team of government forces on Sunday afternoon lifted siege of ten villages in south Kashmir’s Shopian district after ten hours.

Reports said that joint team of forces launched the cordon-and-search-operation in Sindo Shirmal, Balpora, Ganowpora, Berthipora Wathoo and Chakh villages of Shopian.

Reports said that door to door searches were carried by the forces during the 10-hour long siege. There are no reports arrests during the CASO.
