Couple, their minor daughter feared dead in Doda accident

Srinagar, Dec 20: Three members of a family comprising couple and their minor daughter are feared dead as a vehicle skidded of the road and rolled down into river Chenab in Doda district on Tuesday.
Official sources said  that early morning at around 5:20 am one car (JK 06 A 6311) rolled down into Chenab river on Doda – kishtwar road near Pul Doda, Opposite Stone crusher Ghat.
Soon after the accident, they said, a Police team and SDRF water rescue team Doda besides locals reached the spot and started search and rescue operation. The car has been traced in the river but has not been recovered yet, they said.
Moreover, they said, there is suspicion that three people were traveling in the vehicle and have been identified as Manjeet Singh, his wife Sonia Devi and their 6-year-old daughter, residents of Sengoi Bhaderwah. More details awaite.
