Body Of ‘Seemingly Non-Local’ Found in Soura Srinagar: Police

Srinagar, Nov 15:  Body of an unidentified person, apparently non-local, was recovered from Soura area of the Srinagar on Tuesday evening.

A senior police officer said that the body was found on a roadside this evening and investigations have been launched.

Later in a tweet, police said, “One unidentified dead body seemingly of a non-local was found lying on road in soura area of Srinagar. Prima facie seems unnatural death.”

It said inquest proceedings have been started under CrPC 174. “Body sent for post-mortem. Public is requested to inform Soura PS for identification of deceased.”
