Govt Sacks Four Employees Including Salahudin’s son, Bita Karate’s wife Under Art 311

Srinagar, Aug 13: The government on Saturday sacked four employees including a Scientist and a Senior Assistant Professor in University of Kashmir, a JKAS Officer and a Manager IT JKEDI.
The JKAS officer terminated under Article 311 of the constitution of India is Assabah-ul-Arjamand Khan wife of the JKLF’s Bitta Karate and while Manager IT JKEDI, Syed Abdul Mueed, is the son of Hizb-ul-Muajhideen chief Syed Salahudin.
“The Lieutenant Governor is satisfied under sub-clause (c) of the proviso to clause (2) of Article 311 of the Constitution of India that in the interest of the security of the State, it is not expedient to hold an enquiry in the case of Dr. Muheet Ahmad Bhat, Scientist-D in Post-Graduate Department of Computer Science, University of Kashmir, S/o Ghulam Rasool Bhat R/o Arabal, Shalimar, District Srinagar,” reads a government of as regards the scientist-D.
“Lieutenant Governor is satisfied after considering the facts and circumstances of the case and on the basis of the information available, that the activities of Dr. Muheet Ahmad Bhat…….are such as to warrant his dismissal from service,” the order  reads, adding, “the Lieutenant Governor hereby dismisses Dr. Muheet Ahmad Bhat, Scientist-D in Post-Graduate Department of Computer Science, University of Kashmir….from service, with immediate effect. “
The administration had constituted a committee (Government Order No. 738-JK(GAD) of 2020 dated 30 July 2020 for scrutinizing the inputs, records and cognizable material. A number of employees has been already sacked.
Besides Bhat a similar worded order has been passed by the Lieutenant Governor against Majid Hussain Qadri, Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, University of Kashmir, son of Khurshid Ahmad Qadri, Syed Abdul Mueed, Manager, IT, JKEDI, son of Syed Mohammad Yousf (alias Syed Salahudin), and Ms. Assabah-ul-Arjamand Khan, JKAS, DPO, Publicity, Directorate of Rural Development, Kashmir wife of Farooq Ahmad Dar (alias Bitta Karate).
