Jammu, July 21: One person was killed and at least one person injured after a Kacha house collapsed in Rajouri district on Thursday.

Official sources said that Kachha house belonging to Mir Mohammad collapse at Ladhote Rajouri , resulting in on the spot death of one Amjad Hussain son of Abdul Gafoor while one Mohammad Mahroof was retrieved in seriously condition and was shifted to hospital. More details are awaited as regards any more casualties, they said. Also, they said, a buffalo also died in the incident. Soon after getting the information, a police team headed SHO Fareed Ahmad rushed to the spot which is a far off place, they added. .

SSP Rajouri Rajouri Mohammad Aslam confirmed death of one person and injuries to ‘at least’ one person in the incident. “More details are awaited.”
