165 Covid Cases Reported In J&K, Active Tally Rises To 815

Srinagar, July 14: Jammu and Kashmir witnessed a rise in number of daily covid-19 cases with 165 fresh infections reported in last 24 hours, taking the overall caseload to 456456, officials said on Thursday.
112 cases were reported from Jammu division and 53 from Kashmir division, they said.
Giving district wise details, he said, Jammu reported 92 cases, Srinagar 43, Udhampur seven, Kathua six, Gandebal five, Samba four, Anantnag two while Rajouri, Ramban, Reasi, Pulwama, Baramulla and Kupwara reported one case each.
Among the total cases, 167905 are from Jammu division and 288551 from Kashmir, they said.
There was no death from Jammu region due to the pathogen in the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4758 persons have succumbed to the virus—2333 in Jammu and 2425 in Kashmir.
Besides, they said, 119 Covid-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours—75 from Jammu division and 44 from Kashmir Valley. There are now 815 active case— 503 in Jammu and 312 in Kashmir.
The officials said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 51 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said. They also informed that 5805 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
