J&K Reports 27 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, No Death

Srinagar, June 18: The COVID-19 tally in Jammu and Kashmir reached 454469 on Saturday after the detection of 27 fresh cases in last 24 hours, while the death toll remained unchanged at 4752, officials said.

They said that 18 cases were reported from Jammu, seven from Srinagar and one each from Samba and Pulwama districts respectively, taking the overall tally to 454469 —166630 in Jammu division and 287838 in Kashmir.

There was also no death due to the pathogen reported in the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4752 persons have succumbed to the virus—2328 in Jammu and 2424 in Kashmir.

Besides, they said, ten Covid-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours—nine from Jammu division and one from Kashmir Valley. So far 449576 people have recovered, leaving the active case tally at 141— 95 in Jammu and 46 in Kashmir.

The officials said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 51 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said. They also informed that 4911 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
