Policeman Injured In Grenade Blast In South Kashmir’s Anantnag District

Srinagar, June 15: A policeman was injured in a grenade blast in Bijbhera area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said on Wednesday.

They said militants’ hurdled grenade towards a police party in Padshahi Bagh area of Bijbhera this evening, leading to the injuries to a policeman.

The injured policeman was immediately removed to nearby hospital for treatment and his condition is stated to be stable, they said.

Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. However when this report was filed, no arrests culminated.
