J&K reports 7 new covid-19 cases, no death

Srinagar, June 13: Jammu and Kashmir reported seven new covid-19 cases while there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Monday.

They said that four cases were reported from Srinagar and three from Jammu districts, taking the overall tally to 454355—166548 in Jammu division and 287807 in Kashmir.

There was also no death due to the pathogen reported in the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4752 persons have succumbed to the virus—2328 in Jammu and 2424 in Kashmir.

Besides, they said, five Covid-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours—all from Jammu division. So far 449513 people have recovered, leaving the active case tally at 90— 64 in Jammu and 26 in Kashmir.

The officials said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 51 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said. They also informed that 6168 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
