Death toll three in Tral forest operation

A Jammu and Kashmir police constable succumbed to injuries, and uncofirmed reports say that an un identified militant too has been killed during a gunfight between militants and the government forces in Lam forest area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday. Death toll with these two deaths in the encounter has reached three.

Earlier, two army men were injured, one of them identified as Ajay Kumar succumbed to injuries at Srinagar hospital

Meanwhile, a search operation is going on in the Lam forests of the area following the encounter between the forces and militants.
