Srinagar, June 12: Jammu and Kashmir reported 11 new covid-19 cases while there was no death due to the pathogen in the last 24 hours, officials said on Sunday.

They said that five cases were reported from Jammu, four from Srinagar and one each from Kathua and Kupwara, taking the overall tally to 454348—166545 in Jammu division and 287803 in Kashmir.

There was also no death due to the pathogen reported in the last 24 hours, they said. So far 4752 persons have succumbed to the virus—2328 in Jammu and 2424 in Kashmir.

Besides, they said, four Covid-19 patients recovered during the last 24 hours—all from Jammu division. So far 449508 people have recovered, leaving the active case tally at 88— 66 in Jammu and 22 in Kashmir.

The officials said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today. So far 51 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said. They also informed that 889 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
