Srinagar, May 08: Two Lashker-e-Toiba militants including a Pakistani commander Haider were killed in Devsar area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday afternoon, police said.

Police said while Haider was active from last two years, mainly in north Kashmir, another militant Shabaz Shah of Kulgam was active from two weeks.

“Shahbaz Shah of Kulgam was involved in killing of a civilian belonging to minority community namely Satish Kumar Singh on 13 April 2022 in Kakran, Kulgam: IGP Kashmir,” police said in a tweet.

Regarding Haider, police said that he was involved in 2 recent cases in Bandipora. “In incident on 10-11-21, SgCT Mohd Sultan & CT Fayaz were killed. In second incident on 11-2-22, SPO Zubair Ahmad was killed & 03 policemen including 01 ASI of BSF injured.”
