Govt Constitutes Panel On Restructuring JKEDI

Srinagar, April 21 : Government on Thursday constituted committee for restructuring of the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute.

Headed by Principal Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce Department, the committee comprises of Commissioner Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department, Director, Skill Development Department, Director, JKEDI and Representative from Finance Department (not below the rank of Additional Secretary).

The committee has been asked to revisit the Vision Document 2030; to frame a revised salary structure and promotion norms; to revisit the involvement of Institute in Non-Banking Financial Business and Lending Business; to suggest measures for release of Grand-in-Aid; to frame guidelines regarding utilization of funds onaccount of repayment under YSLS (Youth Start up Loan Scheme) and to examine the Audit Report of the Institute for further necessary action.
