Meteorological Centre Srinagar said that the weather conditions are likely to continue.

“Freaky weather, cloudy with occasional rain, thunderstorm with gusty winds, hail storm at isolated places,” MCS said, adding that snowfall over higher reaches are likely to continue till Friday.

It is a prediction for most places of Kashmir and at scattered places of Jammu.

The Centre had on April 19 informed that a Western Disturbance was to affect J&K and Ladakh from 19(Evening) to 22 April. Weatherman had said that people should expect intermittent light to moderate rain, thunderstorm and occasional gusty winds and hail storm mainly during 20-21.

They had also asked agriculturalist  and those associated with horticulture to remain vigilant. Farmers should remain attentive, they had urged.
