Kupwara: Missing Awoora Boy’s Body Found In Nearby Forests After 3 Weeks

Kupwara, Mar 8: Three weeks after the 8-year-old boy went missing from his house at Awoora village of this north Kashmir, his body was recovered from Gujar Pati forest area in the vicinity on Tuesday, officials said.

As per the family, Talib Hussain son of Manzoor Ahmad Khan had disappeared moments after he left home on the fateful day.

The family said that after searching for the boy at every nook and corner did not fructify, police was informed. Since then, police have been on toes and had been relentlessly carrying the searches for the missing boy.

A senior police officer said that a team under the command of additional SP has been investigating the matter and explored all the possible angles to trace the child during all these days.

“We have questioned a number of people in connection with the case,” the officer said. Police had also announced reward for anyone who helps in tracing the innocent child. “Rest of the details would be revealed at an appropriate time soon,” the officer added.
