In a Statement Congress Leader Irfan Naqib has expressed serious concern over the hardships confronting patients belonging to Anchar area of Soura on account of their timely treatment in SKIMS, saying that due to the closure of the gate from emergency side, the people of the area find it difficult to reach hospital.

Anchar area is hugely populated fully depending over the SKIMS, besides it is situated beneath the Hospital Premises, earlier people of entire Anchar and other adjacent areas used to reach hospital through this gate for their timely treatment , but due to its closure they don’t reach the hospital at required time, which is detrimental to the patient care, Congress Leader said.

Since it is humanitarian issue the SKIMS Authorities must intervene and ensure that gate connecting Anchar side is restored to ensure that patient are able to reach hospital hassle-free especially during night hours, Congress Leader urged.

Naqib also sought LG’s intervention into the matter to put an end to the hardships confronting people of Anchar Soura. They delay in reopening the gate is bound to cost precious lives, which should not be allowed to happen, he added.
