Srinagar: Authorities have removed security personnel from late Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Geelani’s house.

Sources told news agency that the security personnel present outside the house of the late leader was removed on late Thursday night.

Separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani had passed away at his Hyderpora residence on September 1, last year.

Before and after the passing away of Syed Ali Geelani, security personnel used to remain present outside the house and road.

Sources said that only family members and relatives were allowed to enter the house after the demise of the nonagenarian leader, however, the security has been lifted now completely.

Sources added that the grave of late Syed Ali Geelani is still being guarded by the security personnel.
