Airport authorities look for ‘busy day of normal flight operation’ in Srinagar

Srinagar, Feb 25: Airport authorities here look for a “busy day of normal flight operation” at the ‘international airport on Thursday, officials said.
“Today our visibility is 1200 M. some flights have already landed,” Director, Airports Authority of India, Srinagar, Kuldeep Singh said.
“We are looking forward to a busy day of normal operations,” he added.
After a whole day washout on Wednesday with all 41 flights scheduled to operate remaining grounded at the airport amid snowfall, six cancellations were forced on Thursday morning due to poor visibility. Eventually with the improvement in the weather, 38 flights operated at the airport yesterday.
