Srinagar: Three question papers in the Prosecuting officers mains examinations by JKPSC have been found of being exact copies of a paper available at an online app Law finder. Candidates appearing in the PO examination are accusing authorities of ‘lackadaisical approach, playing with careers’ and allege they smell foul in the process.
Not only are the aspirants crying foul but many have took to social media trying to expose the similarities in the questions available online and the ones asked.
“Three papers CrPC, IPC and Evidence are exact copies of the ones available online. The app provides questions and answers as well, question papers are simple print outs from websites,” as aspirant told Indian News Service.
Aspirants are accusing authorities of not only wasting their precious time and energy but playing with careers. “It seems some blue eyed candidates are being given favours,” they accused.
“In mains examination for PO conducted by JKPSC, it has come to knw that all questions were asked verbatim from only one source Lawfinderlive. There are genuine apprehensions that few aspirants were in knowledge of the same fact prior to the examination,” Malik. M Saleem wrote on twitter.
The online outrage is growing and many are sharing the screen shots of the website.
“In an utterly appalling belief, bereft of any personal intent to cast down the JKPSC, I reveal to each and every aspirant of the J&K prosecuting officer examination, that the questions in the previous papers were directly taken from an application i.e lawfinder,” said Banday Aquib, on his twitter handle.
He further wrote that, “this is highly condemnable, and there’s no fun in appearing in the exams now”.
Some of the aspirant even accused authorities of not applying mind while copying questions from the website. “Maintanence was not mentioned in the syllabus, look the questions and the verbatim language used,” they said.
“Most of the questions were out of syllabus as the questions on website lawfinder were not according to the PO syllabus. Paper setter didn’t even apply his mind in copying and simply coies the questions. As they say Nakal kai liyai bhi akal chahiyai,” aspirants accused.
They are appealing Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha to personally intervene in the matter and hold an inquiry.
“We urge Lt Governor to intervene so that our career is saved and there should be fixing of responsibility. How come some one can play such a cruel joke with others and while holding such an important chair at JKPSC,” aggrieved aspirants told INS.
